Leaders inspire others to accomplish what they never thought they could do. The very best leaders are those who bring out the best in other people, who find hidden strengths, who challenge appropriately, and who provide support through good times and bad.

The ability to inspire others is not about how smart a person is, it about how they lead through their hearts. There are key emotional skills involved here. One huge area for leadership is to be aware of your own emotions and how those show up on your face, in your speech, and in your decisions. Leading means having other people want to be more like you, to want to be on your team, and to want to take part in what you are creating.
